Alexa Giraldo Patterson is a McAllen native who graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with her Bachelor of Science in Biology and later attended the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley to obtain her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with a strong commitment to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care. Her clinical interests include women’s health, preventative care, chronic disease management and patient education, ensuring patients receive the support they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Alexa takes pride in serving the diverse community of the Rio Grande Valley.
Outside of her clinical practice, Alexa enjoys spending time with her family, taking nature walks with her children, and staying active through her love of tennis.
